This artwork is made from cable tubing, felt, PVC tubing, embroidery thread, seed beads and sequins. Each embellishment has been hand stitched onto net backing then transferred onto a felt background. The use of felt within this piece demonstrates how striking, textural and vibrant corals are when they are healthy.
To emphasise the movement & texture of the piece, the frame has been custom made without the use of a glass front. This gives an opportunity to appreciate the feel of the materials.
