Hand cut PVC tube beads, pom poms, sequins & beads. Each bead has been hand stitched onto white felt, digital embroidery has been used to add blocks of colour to the background.
This piece has been inspired by bleached sea anemones, it has tried to capture the final specks of colour left on the coral indicating it is near the end of its life.
Without the danger of coral bleaching, some sea anemones can live for 50 years or more.
